Cambs TRF have a trip to the I.O.M arranged for early October. Does any one have any experience and advice on what tyres to use that time of year, knobbly or trail ?

Thanks in advance.

Kev.

Big range of different terrain from slippy rocks to bog. Trial tyre would be excellent on the difficult rocky climbs (which there are several) but would maybe clog up in the boggier stuff. I think you would be ok with any FIM enduro tyre. When i went the first time i had Michelin comp 3 which worked excellent. Second time I was using AC10's which, on the rocks were simply too harder compound and offered almost zero grip.
Hope thats of some help.
