I'm organising a ride this coming Monday or Tuesday (early) evening.

Leaving Rockbourne, up to Stratford Tony, along past Fovant to Whitesheet Hill. Then Ox drove, Tollard Royal, Deanland, Ox Drove, Coombe Bissett, Whitsbury Gallops and back to Rockbourne.

It's approx a 50 mile course, mostly BOAT, nothing too difficult, plenty of water splashes. A couple of parts of the course have been rutted up by the 4X4 crowd but not enough to become tedious . Quite wide sections too so the undergrowth doesn't interfere too much either.

Would suit a beginner (as long as they don't mind getting wet)

If anyone has "Mem Map" I can forward an overlay of the route.

MONDAY eve 5pm at the church/village hall car park half way through Rockbourne village on the left (travelling from Fordingbridge). It's just before the pub and opposite the phone box. It's not very big though. For that matter neither is the village so if you don't find us... turn back and try again !

Looks like the route will now include the Donheads etc.
