Hi i have a gas gas ec300 2009 and am wondering what is the best way of carrying extra fuel with me on a run, at the moment i am carrying some in a 1 lt oil bottle in my bum bag, but dont like that idea much, any ideas besides the expensive larger tank,
Thanks
Ade

I tend to use a 2ltr coke bottle and after a few miles empty the bottle into the bike tank. Not the best way but the bottles seal well and it's cost effective. It gives around 20 miles extra range.

Hein Gerrick sell a 2 litre, black plastic fuel bottle for approx £7. I carry it in my rucksack if I think there is a chance I will run low on fuel. Not ideal but far better than pushing the bike for miles.

couple of the lads on a recent visit to wales zip tied a coke bottle to the top of there front mudguard, held there for the duration and they did use the one litre capacity in the end - they even used re-usable zip ties, how eco is that ;)

I run the same bike. I take a couple of 1 litre aluminium fuel bottles in my backpack. The sort of thing you get for multi fuel stoves.

I did once take a five litre can in my backpack, and used it. Gas Gas 300, not the most frugal bikes are they?

army navy store,s , military 1ltr water bottle hard plastic no chance of bursting, also if needs be you can use a camo belt with purpose built water bottle pouches to hold it in , attach to belt where you find practical.
