Hi guys,

After 15 years of road riding, I am incredibly used to having a neutral light.

My DRZ 400 doesn't have one.

Does anyone know how I can bodge one togther? Pretty easy to put together a weather proof box with a green light and bolt it into place with a little mount. But there are so many wires on the bike I wouldn't know where to start, but I'm ok with electronics in general and pretty handy with a soldering iron.

Cheers.

Switch is down by gearbox sprocket should be fitted as all variants share the same bottom end /gearbox

I can start the bike when it's in gear, if that makes any difference.

You don't need a light to tell you when it's in neutral. It's all the way down on the shifter, up one click and the wheels don't go round with the clutch out and engine running.
