Post subject: | Brake Pad advice |
I have done a search and not sure this topic has been comprehensively covered given the options; What are the recommendations for brake pads What Make to buy? eg EBC What type of pad? eg Sintered Where to buy from? I am currently looking for front and rear pads for a 2011 CRF250x so any recommendations appreciated. |

I use Brembo pads in my CRF250X and have done for a while they last well and work well. |

The original pads are always the best i find. Depends if your feeling flush. |

Vesrah in my opinion are the best. They last ages, don't wear your disk out and provide excellent braking performance. Only down side is they'll cost you £27 a set. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Nissin are OEM for a lot of the Jap stuff and Triumph and are generally cheaper than buying the same thing in a Honda/Suzuki/Triumph cardboard box. Try your local dealer, my local - Frasers of Gloucester have always given me a good discount when I've produced my TRF membership card and I've confidence in the products they sell unlike some of the stuff on fleabay. |

As a general point, I suspect that sintered pads may eventually be phased out for environmental reasons...too much copper in the water run-off from busy roads. https://www.copper.org/environment/impa ... brake.html |
