One near Dolgellau is very good, a heated toilet shower block that is always clean. You can even order a full breakfast and evening meal if you want. There is also a bunkhouse and B+B if others in the group prefer a hard top. The only down side is that it is a bit far out of town to walk. http://www.guesthousessnowdonia.com/accom-camping.html This one in Rhayader is good and within a short walk of the town. They seem a bit rigid with pitching up and vacating the pitch times but otherwise fine. http://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co ... er/wyeside Im sure that there are many others that are also great, one near Machynlleth is run by a TRF member and I'm sure you would get a great welcome. |

Plasnewydd bunkhouse near Llanidloes is excellent. Stuff camping Angel Inn does great food and is a nice mile walk back up to burn off the calories. A couple of cafes in town for earlyish breakfast. |

Llwyngwern Farm Pantperthog Machynlleth Very friendly, the owner is a TRF member; you'll need a taxi into town, it's about 3 miles. |
