Better for trails than trials(without mods)
I had a Reflex 200, good on trails and ok at 50mph on the road for mile after mile
Did 6000 miles on mine and apart from routine servicing it was unbreakable
Trials bikes on the road ?
I know someone who has ridden a 1970's Bultaco Sherpa across Spain a few years ago
When I was 17 I put my TY175 back on the road on L plates (had it since I was 13 for schoolboy trials) and put the lights on it, got it mot'd etc and added a 36t rear sprocket
Rode it every day to college every day for 2 years, a round trip of 40 miles a day with even dual carriageway, plus normal teenager running around chasing girls and drinking beer etc and it never missed a beat
A TLR 200 isn't a trials bike - it's a trail/play bike and fully road legal in stock form
