So i've always had the USB charger connected to the space circuit behind the headlight which is fused from the main fuse panel. The other day I connect some hand warmers to the same circuit and the USB charger stopped working. The USB has its own 3amp fuse after the hand warmers this has not blown but the USB will not come on if you remove the USB and connect it directly to a battery it lights up and works . I don't understand does it need its own dedicated supply? It's an Oxford USB and still doesn't work with the handwarmers off. There is definitely power where the cable enters the USB circuit board.

Well it turns out I'm a numpty
+/- aren't black and red on a KTM wiring loom but brown/ yellow and red I think and I had them round the wrong way. Heated grips obviously are not sensitive to this but Oxfords USBs are.
Thanks for the Reply it was confusing the hell out of me.
