Viewranger can use free Open Source maps in place of chargeable Ordnance Survey It also can use international maps when travelling overseas. We used it on a recent trip to Vietnam to record the trails There are some useful starter routes set up in Viewranger to follow - try searching TRF Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk |

Taking this all in,it looks like maps may still be the way to go (no pun intended) with viewranger as reference until I upgrade to a Garmin. I can use viewranger to discover routes then hard copy them onto a map....I like the way a map opens to show the whole area routes with 1 view. |
