Also Rod,I know it's a pain in the ARSE, but when I get over paranoid (am away)I also take off the Tank, seat and front wheel and hide them elsewhere....they'll love that, the dicks....

Nice one Joel, hope you continue to keep them at bay......any DNA left on the nails?

A few bent ones, but it's been pissing it down all night so will do the blood hunt/ nail straightening tomorrow...ironically we have a pile of shite waiting for a tip run in the back and I have subsequently realised that I could have thrown some serious 'weaponry' at them...hindsight....kinda glad I didn't though as they know where I live...ah well, a good old Mancunian 'clear off' seemed fair for their troubles oh and the nails....but they do it to themselves, as Radiohead once said...

Wouldn't it be terrible if there was some cat poo on the nails, and the wounds became infected?

Thank you for the information Rod
It was fairly cheap to be honest, the auction finished just before xmas so i dont think to many people were bidding and the ground off frame numbers put a lot of people off.

I noticed the rear wheel was a little questionable. It wasn't fitted correctly, the rear disc has been damaged where the spacer wasn't fitted. Apart from that the bike seems to run well, a little temperamental from a cold start but no worse than my old Honda Dominators i used to have. I've been using it for some trips to work this week to see how it rides and I'm getting used to the weight of it and the rather lazy engine feel, but all is going well so far and it certainly puts a smile on my face. I look forward to some muddy fun soon. I'll get some pictures up of its current stage of restoration when i get a minute. I've been looking to get another rear wheel but so far the purple one works ok.

Thank you,

Ant

Martin, I appreciate you are trying to help, but you have posted something that is 4 months old and all sorted now, so will be very confusing, could you please remove your facebook post?
