I know the horses have bolted, but I use a double wheel transit rim concreted to half its depth as a ground anchor, running the chains through the axle hole. A very awkward shape to cut by the scum but very cheap to obtain.

I'm also very sad to hear this Rod, absolute nightmare!

Had a close shave last year when three local youths tried to break into my garage, but luckily the additional security locks prevented them from gaining access. Had many a sleepless night after that, getting up at all hours at the slightest noise. Not surprising when the little shite ran off and shouted 'we'll get it next time'!

I have since installed high def. cctv, the Almax jobbie and a stand alone alarm system which I will be looking to market soon - hopefully.

I hope you get sorted and don't let them put pay to what you love and gives you pleasure!

All the best,
Dom

Makes me feel sick. Feel for you Rod, hope they can trace the bastards. Seems like no amount of security works if the scumbags sus where you keep your bikes.

Can you believe it..
As the organiser of this weekends Rod Jackson trip - Rod is still wanting to assist in trying to find another leader, meet us at the meeting point and give us GPX files with the route on, still go to the B&B and explain the situation etc etc.
Rod mate - You've been kicked in the nuts. We've cancelled the ride - its not a problem.
What a kind man you are to still care about us in this situation - there aren't many that would!!
As secretary of the East Yorkshire TRF we are gutted for you and hope you can pick yourself up and get back in the saddle asap and put it all behind you.
Kindest Regards
Ady

That sums Rod up, what a credit to TRF he is and one of the most genuine blokes I have met

Rod - the man that exudes Fellowship

So very sad he has suffered the cruelest of blows to his beloved bikes - the tools of his TRF trade, with which he gives so much pleasure to others on his infamous Rodfather trips

Hope you get sorted very soon Rod
