hi all. after taking a very heavy spill last night (ripped my drz radiator in half) I'm looking at body armour types. have been looking at something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Body-Armour-M ... 9t0YjorNlg I took a huge hit to my shoulder and elbow (both pretty swollen). any recommendations and advice on body armour very welcome thanks Dan |

Hope you recover quickly. I use a Forcefield harness. Anything is better than nothing. Even wearing my one I still managed to injure my ribs earlier on in The year. |

Buy the best you can afford (consider used if good condition) but from a recognised name who has invested in the technology and performance. I use ForceField extreme harness and D3O in jackets etc out of personal choice. |

I started out with the cheaper ones, but you find the Zips fail or the stitching comes apart. |

I use Dainese. It's expensive to start with but is comfortable all day, long lasting and in numerous tests I've given it, it works! |

Hi Dan, the Forcefield is excellent stuff. Soft(ish) CE level 2 armour that moulds to the body for comfort and then instantly goes hard on impact. If you look on the Club Stock list on our (STRF) forum you'll find it at an excellent price. Colin B |

Bad luck Dan, I use force field extra vented because I hate getting hot, in all fairness it is still a bit too warm for my liking but it is the best I've tried. Excellent impact protection but very little abrasion protection if your covering any tarmac.

+ 1 for Forcefield Extreme Harness. Very cool and breathable  Kevlar stitching so should hold up and last a little longer.
