National Parks and Trailriding are entirely compatible. This is because trailriding is a proper and traditional fabric of the countryside with an extremely rich heritage. National Parks exist to protect that.

That may well be the theory of it John, it does not appear to be the practice though :(

You're right Rod and thats what worried me about her response.
JP1 are we making progress with NPs such that we don't need to worry about their treatment of us?

It looks like a standard reply template has been issued. An awful lot of similarities of content in the last two. :(

Great to be getting responses in from MPs. The next stage of the campaign is to evaluate the responses, who is with us, who is against, who doesn't understand etc.

We are building a good database of information which will help us make decisions on how we proceed.

Can I ask that everyone who has received a response forwards it to MP@trf.org.uk

Many thanks

: )

Well, my MP gave an almost immediate response.

Sorry Kelvyn

If this is a very nice way of asking me to support motorcycles and scrambling motorbikes being able to access green lanes, country footpaths and bridle paths then I cannot support this

Clearly she doesn't understand, and needs further education/information on the matter.

Makes you worried about the understanding of any laws that are going through.
Thick as two short planks and twice as stupid.

Indeed, I'd also be making very clear to the MP concerned that her job is to act as an impartial conduit for constituents to get a voice heard in parliament. Members of Parliament don't have an option to cherry-pick which constituents views they choose to 'support'.
