Hi, has anyone on here got one, be interested to hear what you think of them. They look ace but i've seen on the web mention of starting problems. I believe you can have a kick fitted so it's optional which is good. I like the price and vid reviews i've seen but would love to hear from someone who owns one ? Thank you :)

I have one but am on holiday at the moment and I do not have the time to write much.
Find the Beta Xtrainer Facebook page and read everything.
No starting issues reported are you confusing this bike with the Ktm 250r?
Overall impression is excellent.

I have one, only just run in. Great bike for short legs goes well about 80 miles to a tank full and no premix.

To the lucky few owners out there, make sure you get a spare spark plug !
I removed mine to clean it, then accidently dropped it
They are only available from Beta Spares, not from any bike shop or even direct from NGK.

Copied from another forum. http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/113686 ... park-plug/ Might not have to get from Beta. I will be ordering a spare just in case.
Has any one had jetting issues at tick over to 1/4 throttle? Mine was rejet by my dealer with a 30 pilot jet which smooth it out a lot, but now it started to bog when cracking the throttle so going to a 35 or 38 and see what happens.

The electric starter is its strength. Better than the rest apparently.

However, quite a few owners shitting themselves about the reliability of the autolube on the facebook page. Probably all just paranoia, moving from premix, but nonetheless there are several posts about it. Ones I recall:

"Where is this oil leak coming from? It must be the autolube."
"I felt like my bike was seizing on a ride. It must be the autolube."
"I did 50 miles yesterday and I used 50ml less oil than I did on a 50 mile ride the day before. It must be the autolube."
