I agree about the six days on a 450 they only last a few full days riding with any sort of road miles included
The ac10 can be good but a bit slippy on the road
Good for drifting round the hairpins on hardknot pass though

I am using some maxxis enduro (can't remember the full name and at work) the rear is great and wears good but the front has worn bad and I get a few front end slides on road and off that don't inspire confidence so am on the hunt for a good front

I'm running AC10's - I don't find them terrible but only have Mitas Army Special's to compare them against.

I'm quite happy that people are saying they are bad, means I can expect better grip on my next set of tyres soon ;)

I'm currently using Pirelli Scorpion XC Mid Hard front and rear (with Michelin desert mouses)* find them to be great all rounders.

Previously I used Maxxis Cross IT (rear) and SI (Front), with HD tubes. Again great all rounders

Both are reasonably priced too.

* A bit harder than their enduro mousses

Six Days are FIM approved and last well (for me at least).

I thought they were called "six days" because that's about how long they last on my bikes!

you get 6 days out of them you doing well.
