Nice I have a drz400s . They are a little heavy but a good compromise if you need to be able to cruise at 70mph on normal roads , make sure you fit some hand guards and decent tyres , I didn't an on my first lane ride through wet mud and ruts, broke a brake lever and came off 3 times ( low speed) |

Nothing wrong with a Supermoto on the Byways. I used to do ride outs which involved a nice ride around the twisty and then byways, Most lanes in Kent can be ridden on a supermoto. I have ridden them all on my old supermoto oh and surrey. |

nowt wrong with the SM. if your going to do more off road than road id get the E version. lighter and slightly more powerful (plus the plastic tank wont dent so easily) i ride my E 44 mile commute and then hit the lanes. tough bikes will take a beating and carry on. easy to maintain too. few simple mods and your sorted |

Used to do a really good days green laning on the supermoto's. They are easier for traveling that bit further on as the wheels are wider and smoother on the roads. I think that they are the future around some parts of the country. I have ridden Kent on a supermoto no problem at all. Its a right old laugh and makes it more interesting. Plus the road work is fun and not hardwork....Supermoto's are a whole heap of fun. The rate at which kent re surface their lanes you will be able to use a sportsbike on them anyway! You can get some decent supermoto knobbly tyres Maxxis 6006's Kender K270's Tck-80'S |
