I have been looking for OS software which allows you to use OS maps on your Iphone and I have found this software called "Outdoors" at £14.99 its cheap. I have been using it on my Iphone which I have attached to my bike and it works a treat...Very good I must say. You can connect your Iphone to your bike by mounting it on the handle bars. You can buy a heavy duty waterproof/shock proof cover called an "Otterbox" to protect the device (just goggle it). You can also get a mounting bracker called a "Ram Mount" which is used to mount the Iphone on mountain bikes but works a treat on an off road bike.
There is a company in the uk which sell these for £19.99. I then used a cigarette lighter socket which I got from Hein Gerricke for a tenner (its a tidy one) runs straight of the battery with a fuse in line....Then I plug a car charger in the iphone and keep it charged etc. or just plug it in when the battery is getting low.....I found this a very cheap option that works very well.......Heres the software what do you guys think?? It works for me just thought id share it!!
