I was toying with entering the Eastborne LDT..

On my 690

I know its no Pampera and has the turning circle of a bus so would it be a complete waste of time or worth a bash for a bit of fun?

It's ideal for the Sussex lanes and can manage some technical riding.

If in doubt just monster truck the section ;)

Turning circle can be significantly reduced byfitting rally raid raid braces. These change the position of the rad and allow lock stops to be wound in further. I've fitted both the oem KTM and Rally Raid braces to my 690's and the RR one allows greater lock.

You can also take a link or two out of the chain to reduce the wheel base.

Harder sections than sidcup's Timber woods because they use some of ground they use for their club trials but it's no Wyegate or Ivor Morkott. If you think the sections are beyond you take 5s and just enjoy the lanes. As jon says the lanes aren't technical. You could always foot through the sections for a 3. As there is a class for 451cc+ you may come away with an award :-).

IC......should have read more carefully what you wrote :-)

I did wonder as currently the stops are wound right into the lock nuts and the forks only just touch the guard.

They are a bit pricey but I might have to save up......

In answer to your original question.

Not as silly as one-time TBM contributor Paul Blezzard, who tried to do the Wyegate on his (soon to be ex?) girlfriend's 650 cc BMW.
