Ive used AC10's twice on the rear wheel of my WR250F. Got a AC10 on the front. As I don't do a lot of miles my main priority is grip over longevity.

What do you recommend as a replacement for the rear.

Dunlops were recommended to me, or the Maxi as an alternative to the AC10, I will need a new rear tyre very soon, and looking for an alternative to the AC10 myself.

Give the pirelli mt21 a go mate. Good grip on tarmac and good on the dirt.

I've been very happy with Trelleborg Army Specials on my Serow, & Mitas CO2 on the bigger bike. Both have good grip on tarmac & dirt.
