I have a kreiga bag - waterproof? Load of rubbish. I know a few people with these bags and they all terrible at keeping the water out. I have even put my tools in a THICK plastic bag first and they still get wet through.
The only bag I have found to be totally waterproof are the specialist inner bags from ortelieb - rather bulky but a fantastic bit of kit available in different sizes

ortilieb use the same water tight folding system as kriega ,
and are guaranteed to be waterproof for ten years
i have had various bags for motorcycling and marine use over many years and i have found that kriega are far more advanced in design and quality than other makes,
and have a genuine no quible 10 year guarantee "even on their fully waterproof zips"
if you do break a buckle etc, they will send you a "free" repair kit !!
try that with other makers ;)

allan i have also found that aldi carrier bags make crap dry bags
