hi all, more questions :o

still looking at ttr's but they seem just that little bit more than i want to pay as i still have to do my test in the new year and buy proper riding gear.
so i have seen a few xr250's with electric start and trip computers etc and believe them to be imports?
Put a question on the honda forum but never really got an answer except someone who thought that were a softer tune and suspension that the normal 250r as opposed to them being a 250L ?
so was wondering if anyone on here had any views/experience on the 250L ?

many thanks in advance again

Have a look at what bikes you fancy (electric boot or not) then check out the weight of the bikes. I find my TTR250 heavy in comparison with a non-electric start XR. If you cannot cope without e-start: decision made, but fatigue and picking the b*gger up are also issues. Swings and roundabouts. The e-start XRs I've seen are completely different (DOHC engine and battery) to the kick start versions (enduro version with SOHC and screw and locknut tappets, no battery). So there are servicing issues to consider.

Honda 250L??

I will tell you all you need to no....Flat as a pancake. Yes they are Jap Imports.

The Normal XR250R feels slow and flat....The L is a street bike and feels very very flat...
