Been riding on the road for 13yrs now want to try the offroad. I have bought a 2002 yz426f. Has sump guard , bark busters and generator kit fitted. It is as you would imagine though a little too fast to cope with the slower more technical stuff. Are there any mods you could recommend that could make it more user friendly in the tight low speed stuff?
Many thanks

Chris

IMO that bike falls into the mentalist catagory....

you have 3 options:

1) Re-gear via sprockets
2) Use less throttle
3) Sell it and get a less mental bike...

Sorry I can't help much more

I will try the sprocket mods - seems the cheapest way.

Thanks
