Best brand of battery? What keeps charge longest and can survive regular top ups?

Cheapest from eBay - Numax brand
It's happy with being left on a float charge
It's happy being left with no charger on for a month or so and still has enough to start the engine (and mine is a bitch to start from cold in winter!)
