Very handy, have you got access to a more recent list :?: .
The from and to columns are a very useful check on TRO status. It looks as if the consultants who did this 'exegis' were the same outfit who were involved in the cambrian mountains pilot project.
Again I note that it is predominantly the longest routes that are TRO'd

I often find the longer routes are targetted for TRO's. Often they're seasonal selective (banning 4x4's) ones though which work well due to the low impact of trailbikes.

I've found this useful. Combines Google maps with the OS so you can actually see the course you might take.

LoS for North Yorkshire

http://northyorks.gov.uk/CHttpHandler.ashx?id=10523&p=0

Apparently there's approximately 700km of unsurfaced lanes on the north yorks LoS?!

Could this very usefull (essential) thread be stickied?

Thanks for that, master list updated.

The thread is already stickied within the Countryside Access Discussions section of the public forum, is there something else that you were hoping to achieve?

Please pardon my ignorance, as a beginner and novice, but for example on the North Yorkshire list the locations of the highway's are given as a start grid and end grid as a set of digits i.e. 574 416

What does this number mean and is there a way that this number can be entered into a program such as Menmory Map, Trailwise or similar and search for its location. If so how should there be letters in front of the number?
