Motorcycle or quadricycle I am guessing motorcycle, be good to see or use a chair out, not so keen on trikes though, but legality are 3 wheels where 2 or good and 4 are bad on closures and restriction. |

Green laning on an outfit is a hoot. a few 4wheel TROs in Hants. A great victory for those who got this concession back in the day. I Followed a cr500 chair and a rotax600 wasp up pen y fan years ago. No engine breaking on the 500 on the way down. Sod that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Agreed, but where does three wheels fit on regarding motorcycle and four wheels? |

In the middle I'd guess? I think it was more originally as a concession so the lanes could be used for trials. A few in the west country use chairs for green laning. Don't know anyone who has a road legal trail trike. I know someone who was building one as they bought some of my old dr spares to make it. Whether they ever finished it I don't know. I had a Suzuki SP400 with a trials sidecar that I used on Lakedistrict green lanes for a couple of years. A sidecar makes even moderate green lanes very interesting as you don't normally have to worry about side slopes on a solo. I did manage to roll it a few times and it always rolls with the bike coming over the sidecar, which is not brilliant as an SP400 is a heavy brute. The biggest advantage is that your passenger (sidecar monkey) is responsible for opening all of the gates and they are great fun in the snow. |
