As Andy says, we should be tapping up the manufacturers and sponsors as they will surely go after the mx and enduro tracks once they have gone as far as they can with the lanes.
Are they even aware of the problems we face?
They all want to sell us bikes and are making more effort to introduce pukka trail bikes so it must be worth their while.

Another tought is that the manufacturers of trail bikes and Enduros will ultimatly suffer should we continue to loose access and as such with a further deminished ability to ride on unsurfaced roads in the Uk then their year on year sales figures will drop..costing them a great deal of money...

Maybe we should be talking with them and asking them to help with persuading selebrities to attend a suitable well organised protest...

Also would groups like Red Bull be interested.. or that Monster drinks company etc...

Agree
I have said this many times!! :)

Friend of the Peak District Christopher Pennell's APR Committee (aka kangaroo court) will meet again on the 24 of Jan. It is likely that lane closures will be on the Agenda again.

Should we present the petition to them on this occasion, or should we wait until the Budget meeting where the PDNPA will decide to hike charges, and cut spending, but keep wasting money on trying to close lanes?

DISCUSS ...

I think. A protest on the day of the meeting isn't a good call it will only annoy them and then they can look down there noses at us and plan the next TRO
