Hi i'm completely new to trail riding and as yet not even done one i did years mtb'in and natural progression was to add an engine to the mix so i bought myself a drz400 all the gear (most of it was transferable from my dh mtb stuff) and well i dont know where to ride i tried to register with the midlands trf website and admin wont let me in so a couple of questions

Where is legal and good to ride near wolves
Is there anywhere to ride near liverpool (my weekend address)
What documentation do i have to be aware of when taking part in green laning
What special modifications if any need to be made to my motorcycle
are there any group rides so i can meet experienced people to ride with

Much appreciation
George

Your bike just needs to be fully road legal.
Only mods you really need for the trails are a bash plate, hand guards and a quiet exhaust.
(All other mods are to own preference like bar risers and engine mods etc)
Try giving your local TRF group a phone call as they will show you the best lanes.
Enjoy! 8-)

Welcome George. Take a look on the Lancashire TRF forum for runs and some useful information and answers to your questions.

http://lancashiretrf.free-forums.org/

We have quite a few members in the Liverpool area and if you register and put a post on requesting a ride, I am sure someone will be able to help you out.

Tony
