Hi. Anyone going derbyshire from matlock end that i could tag on with or i am willing to lead.

the forum is not as used as it could be, so it does tend to mean that the lead time for organising a ride would be more than a day

You need to contact your local group and find out what they are doing, many don't even use the forum though.
Alternatively you can be a member of more than one group, Manchester use the forum for all rides, though preference goes to those who attend the meetings.
Manchester regularly ride in Derbyshire with starting points of Macclesfield, Marple and Whaley Bridge, you would be more than welcome to come and try us out but as already mentioned don't leave it till the last minute, rides are often organised one or two weeks in advance.

There was a ride out on that Saturday, posted on the Manchester forum, starting from Mac but your post appeared very late on Fri evening.
