Hi long time absent from the TRF, but I ran the Thames Valley Group for 10 years from 1990 to 2000.

Sad to hear it no longer is going. We had a great core of long term members.... hope they are all still well!

Don.

Sorry to hear that the Thames Valley group no longer exist.

We used to meet in the District Arms at Ashford, Middlesex, and we used to very active during the 90's.

I was the group rep for 10 years and I remember the Reid Brothers (also in the South London Group I believe), and also Clive Phillips and his brother, Bob who moved to the West Country and Richard Thompson also of the Lodden Vale group.

Well I have some video of clubs runs so all is not lost.

Don Hoaglin.

I was a member of this group from 1978 for about 10 years. I was introduced by John Collins when I worked for Transport and Road Research Laboratory at Crowthorne. I am now based in Princes Risborough and want to start doing some trail riding at weekends and the odd trip further afield. I did a few Welsh trips with Thames Valley TRF which were great fun. Thames Valley were a very nice group of people. At the time I was a bike mad 17 year old. I have just re-joined for myself and my 17 year old son.
