Pop on over the monthly meet next Wednesday at the Cross Keys pub on Ulting Road, Hatfield Peverel just off the A12. You will receive a warm welcome and the monthly ride out will be the Sunday after.

Hi

I'm in Gidea Park, currently using OS maps & trailwise website to make routes, not been to the group meeting yet, trying to get a bit more confident on the maps & bike.
Was using BMW F800gs but its too big, now using a TTR 250 which is a lot easier.
There is a lane near you, head up A127, turn right onto A128 heading south, comes up on the lefthand side, hard surface with ruts at the end, beware the ruts they little bit slippery in the rain.
Other than that, few tracks around Ongar area, also check out www.wetroads.com, good ford site, lots of fun.
I tend to ride weekday mornings not weekends, as I work a shift so I keep weekends free for the wife.

Good luck, let me know how it goes.

Cheers Bardetti.
I think I know the lane - comes out at a nursary on the A127? I have also used the OS maps but have not found too much other than around Brentwood. I'll look around Onga and have a look at wetroads as well.

If I find anything good I'll let you know. :)

No problem, I been riding a lane off Dunton Rd, it connects with Botney Hill Rd, very deep rutts with bricks at the bottom, centre lane is passable.
Wiggins Lane worth a look too.
