Tyre weld puncture can does work, but only for a few miles, then flat again.

Guess I could have saved £10 and a mess on the rear end and riden it flat.

Oh, well I did get a nice free 50mm builders screw from teh top of poundford lane, but I was not the only one with a flat rear...hope you got back ok Paul

A free screw eh! theres always an upside to these things. I got back just fine thanks, the rear tyre was smoking like a good un going along the Lewes bypass. When i stopped there was smoke billowing out between the wheel and the tyre. It made it nice and easy to get the tube out when i got back though, took me about 3 minutes. As i said theres always an upside...... ;)

Sorry to hear about the puncture but that has reduced the SH value of that near new MT21 to zilch. I shall no longer be able to look at your rear with any yearning! ;)

Its only a new tube now then, and run the MT21 till old then as there is no value in it, and there was me thinking this would be a good time to get a set of new tyres!

Glad you got back and sorted ok. I now have a rear mudguard full of white sticky film. As said it stayed up for a few miles, well to the Boship roudabout, then went skirmy.

I guess the hole in the tube was too big at the end of teh day. Oh well better get a tube and maybe a couple of spares too.
