Hi and welcome Gully

There was a manc meeting last night at Bredbury and i think the next one is on the 4th tuesday of this month which would be 27th December. If I remember correctly the lads agreed it SHOULD be held on that night even though it is officially a bank holiday.

You could always ring AlanH to get booked on a ride meantime ;)

Where do you live?

What do you ride?

Are you new to it? (or returning)

Ian

It would probably get up the Donkey Track but it would not get past the taxi we saw wedged at the top of the revised route when we were there about 3 weeks ago.

Suspect he was using a common-sense blocker (sat nav).

It's well known that common sense is blocked by the operation of a sat nav.

Want to know where you are: why look about you when you can see where you are on the little screen.

A German motorist nearly died when his satnav told him (in German) to 'take the next left' and he drove down a slipway and into a river!

No sure what the taxi had been trying to do but the recovery vehicle was already there and trying to work out how to make the recovery without getting stuck as well, they were manoeuvring to have a second go with a winch when we went past.
