Can I give a public thanks to Mick for organising the Austin Vince evening yesterday.

He's certainly an interesting and entertaining guy - not a 'Long Way....' fan though.
Was good to see decent numbers in the end as well.

That diary book is going to take some reading though - I'll need better specs for the small print.

Awl..shucks Guys ..it was nothing.. :oops:

I'm glad it went off as well as it did ,and not a bad turn out in the end .
I'd like to book Ted Simon next ,but fear we'd get even less interest. :lol:

Old Austin had a bit of trouble finding his car after the show though,the guy who moved it parked it about a mile away. :lol:

Put me on the list for Ted then - it's years since I read Jupiter's Travels (that was him wasn't it?).

Well done Mick!!! Gutted I missed out, power steering pump gave way on the M2 !!! At least I bought a ticket I guess!!!!
