MINUTES OF HEREFORDSHIRE GROUP TRF (HTRF) MEETING
2 MAY 17

1. Intro Gray welcomed all and intro’d new member (that night) Grant (rides a KTM300).

2. Herefordshire Hospice Trail (HHT) – update (Tim).

• Updated Action Plan to be issued to all via email.
• Food. Dano awaiting update/quote for Fish & Chip van for Sat ni plus bacon butties Sun am. Prob c£3.80 pp. Payment up front, but will make donation to HHT.
• Music. At recent Taffy Dakar heard 14yr old girl singer (Caitlin). Very talented. Keen to sp. Gray negotiating.
• Marque. Ack this vital for 100 pers. Gray in touch with local company plus Andy to approach `Good Intent’. Glenn will kindly provide heater (once marque size cfmd.).
• Generator. Also vital eqpt. Florin approached Speedy, awaiting quote (incl lighting tower).
• Routes. Vital that Leaders cfm routes asp. Gray to coord to ensure spectrum of routes plus not over-use. HHT AP to now incl table with Leaders with routes incl cw/acw direction.
• Hospice Angels. Cfmd roles of HAs as rd route marshals, assist in comms and recovery. Official tent on campsite.
• Calling Notice/Applic Forms. Ack that all correspondence, docs, payment etc to be conducted online. No postal versions hence cut costs, max donation to Hospice. BACS and/or PayPal?

3. Report on Ride-Outs (Gray).

• 29 – 30 Apr. Andy trip to Barmouth.
• Dave plus 4 (fm Hamps) to area Barmouth, annual event, 4 days. Can recommend excellent B&B on seafront.
• 1 May. Nick J lead Dano, Jack, Lee and Tim on 85 mile route recce for HHT event (Sun). Deemed perfect and ack that event not enduro so scenic plus fuel stop. Of significant note was that deliberate ploy by a certain 2 stroke rider to kill tail-ender with noxious fumes and the surviving Husky managed (almost) the whole trip without self-destructing.

4. RoW (Nick).

• Moelfre City. Reported that Powys CC insist no restrictions on this GRd despite probs at southern end; it is a BOAT. Issue revolves around 50m of fm track that leads onto GRd. Farmer insists its pte land and apparently has High Court ruling in favour. Nick D to approach PCC to cfm. Meanwhile there is a route that bypasses this fm track. Invitation to PCC to HTRF mtg?
• All members actively encouraged to info Nick D of any obstructions, blockages, locked gates etc with photos, accurate description and location. He keen to provide evidence to CCs that GRds are being used and of any issues.

5. Future Ride-outs.

• 7 May. If Glenn and Spike not racing then they will lead ride-out. TBC WhatsApp.
• 21 May. Lead by Joe. Llangollen. Poss 2 gps as 10 riders to date.
• 8-9 Jul. Gray approached fm another TRF gp to lead 6 riders out of Kington. He will lead Sat, need vol for Sun.

6. Finance (Jim).

• £52 (net) raised this evening, £330 in bank.

7. AOB.

• Local Access Forum at Kindle Centre Hereford Wed 17 May. RoW issues. Incl GLASS reps and Nick D poss attending.

8. Raffle. The world’s supply of GT85 was raffled off in pairs of cans. The lucky winners were: Martin, Tim, Lee, Dano, Jim & Robert.

Regarding Grays lead out ex kington on the sunday will check diary etc but might clash with Clyro thing being promoted by the TRF (see other post) :?:
