Hi newbie is there a mersyside TRF group ? I'm in St. Helens so before I become a fully paid up member I'd like to see what the TRF is all about I've been putting it off for years

But the more I find that green leaning is getting harder to find decent usable legal lanes the more I'd like to help in the fight 8-) to keep them open

If you click on the TRF logo [top left of this page] then click on the 3 tiny orange stripes that will give you a drop down menu, then click regional groups to find where the locations are, looks like you have a choice of 3 Manchester / Ribble Valley / North Wales.

Best of luck

Welcome Dirtman.

Hope you come on board and help us keep those lanes for all to use.

When you join you list a group, but you can state a second, and of course you can group up with anybody.

Manchester is best, there used to be a Liverpool TRF group but they got sick of pinching each other's bikes...probably (Joke!) yeah we have a guy from Runcorn in the Manc group and he is a 'sound la' not to mention Hugh... Who just moved down the Mersey....

But not far enough
You will find more on this forum from the Manchester crowd, Good or Bad thing you will have to wait and see!
North Wales group have the advantage that they don't have to worry about the Peak District National Park, but I believe they have more interaction with the police, but if road legal and riding where you are allowed no problem.

Go to a meeting at both groups and see which you prefer.
