http://www.beadlamtractor.co.uk/We have been asked by the organisers of this event if, once again, we can provide traveling marshals. The event raises a lot of money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and for anyone that hasn't done it before involves upwards of 200 tractors old and new traveling in convoy on the lanes between Helmsley and Pickering, N Yorks. A fantastic lunch is provided for all volunteers along with a bacon butty and a pot of tea on arrival in the morning. The TRF have been involved for a few years and our help is very much appreciated by the organisers, locals and tractor drivers. In 2015 the weather was atrocious, so 2016 is hopefully going to be better (can't be any worse!!). For anyone interested the Tour de Yorkshire 2016 will run on the main A170 between Helmsley and Pickering on the same day - so likely that some of us will catch a glimpse of the cycle race too.
If you can help, please post below, further details, times, location etc will follow.
Thanks in advance
Richard Hirst
