Blessed with woods and hills that make for off-road paradise, it is the perfect location for a long distance off-road tour. Starting in Vezelay, the first day takes you south to the town of Chateau-Chinon. After a night in a hotel you head south to start a long loop that eventually brings you back to your hotel in Chateau Chinon. Then on your final day you ride north back to your starting point in Vezelay. Each day is appoximately 180 kms with an extremely high off-road ratio To allow for the possibility of bad weather, or hold ups, each day features a number of mini loops that can be missed out if you should fall behind schedule. A unique chance to explore this little known area, and experience a France few normal tourists ever see.
