Hello chaps (and lasses?)
I need to drag my bike out of the garage and blow the cobwebs off it! Anyone know of local trail rideouts in Saffron Walden area? I haven't been off road for yonks but can't wait to get stuck in again! Easy rides would suit best to begin with...

There is a group of us who meet in chelmsford and ride around that area generally, but have been known to venture further north (towards saffron walden)

Let me know if you would be interested in meeting up.

Otherwise there is the Essex TRF who meet in Hatfield Peverel but i'm not sure when there rideouts are.

I'm going riding with someone from Saffron this weekend, I work here but live over the border in Suffolk. The guy I'm riding with has just bought a bike so I'm showing him the ropes. If you PM me your email address and or No I can put you in touch with him.

Hi Agent orange and welcome to the forum.

Essex TRF meet at the Wheatsheaf, Hatfeidl Peverel second wednesday of each month. BIt of a trek for you, but you can meet several like minded people. We have a ride out most months the Sunday after the meeting. WE quite oftern ride in your part of the world, but all over Essex so you can see some new lanes. We also run a couple of trips a year elsewhere in the country so you can experience other places.

Hope to see you at the meeting or on the lanes.
