Hi All,

New convert to offroading, but have been riding for a few years on road before the change. I'm looking to get into green laning and meeting like minded people in the local area but I sent an email to the North Wales contact but I've heard no reply (this has been roughly over a fortnight now). Is there still a meet up every 1st Wednesday of the month?

Regards,

Offroad

Hi OffroadScout
Welcome, I'm surprised that you have not had a reply as he usually reply's very quickly.
the details are as listed below: You will notice that there is also a phone no. which I am sure, as he has listed it, he is happy to be contacted on during reasonable hours.

Regional Rep: Neil "Timpo" Thompson

Meeting Details: Meet 1st Wednesday of the month at 8pm @ The Griffin Inn, 120 Mold Road, Mynydd Isa, Mold, Flintshire, CH7 6TF

Contact Details:

timpo@bikerider.com

07980 555874

Anyway there is not much activity on this site but the local group meets are well attended and where the majority of rides are sorted.
The meets are very informal but you will be greeted and made to feel welcome especially if Amanda is on hand. She does a great job of explaining how it all works to new members.
What bike do you ride and have you been out much on it?

Hi Eddie,

Thanks for your reply.

I'll try emailing Neil again and hopefully something will be sorted :)

Unfortunately I'm predisposed for this upcoming meeting but I am most definitely interested in joining and taking part.

I currently ride an '08 F800gs but my trial riding career equates to around about five minutes when I accidentally turned into a farmers field! That was on a ER5 though... :/

Timpo left yesterday for a few days riding in Portugal.
Whilst many members do also have larger "adventure bikes" most group rides are aimed at smaller trail or enduro bikes that are ideal for the riding we have available.
As I said the best course is to come along to a monthly meeting. Is there a specific question that you want answering?

Nice!

No, no. There's nothing specific, I just wanted to introduce myself and start to enjoy some trail riding!

Thank you for all of your help though, and not doubt we'll bump into each other at some point :D
