The Beadlam Tractor Run http://www.beadlamtractor.co.uk/ is a yearly charity fund raiser for amongst others, Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Once again we have been asked if we can provide 6 or 7 pairs of riders [on any sort of motorcycle] to help with traffic marshalling at junctions as we did in 2014.

This event is on one of the days of the Tour de Yorkshire, so I expect some of our usual volunteers might otherwise be occupied.

A good lunch is provided for all volunteers, its a good day for a good cause, dead easy and fun.

The run starts from just outside Helmsley.

Well.....it was a wet one. Some of us chickened out and went in the cars, but to the few who braved the horrendous weather....I salute you, three cheers from all those that wimped out....me included

The rally raises a healthy sum for the YAA, and even though the weather was horrible, low cloud and peeing it down the helicopter turned up, a fantastic sight close up.

So, thanks to all for turning up and doing a great job.
