Hi Dan

Welcome, you sound like your just down the road from me (I'm in March).

The good news is that there's plenty of great riding around our area. If you want any specific advice just ask but Tonys suggestion of getting along to a Cambs TRF Group meeting is the best bet. The guys and girls will make you very welcome and you'll be able to tag along on rides etc.

One word of advice though, there are lots of legal byways around Ely but there are one or two near Witchford that are closed at the momment. These are well signed (big red signs) so avoid these but otherwise if it says "PUBLIC BYWAY" it's OK to ride.

Look out for the notorious Ely mud though 8-) Have fun.

Cheers

Richard

Nice one Dan :P

I am in Ely, so as you can see there are a few of us in this area.

It's all been said really mate, there are lots of nice lanes around this way and plenty more within 40 minutes ride.
There should be plenty of chances for weekend riding and also some midweek too so keep an eye out on this forum and definitely pop along to the meeting and say hello.

Look forward to meeting you sometime. 8-)
