Yes, another new member, I just wanted to say Hi!

I’ve recently turned 17, which is significant for me as it’s allowed me to ride a 125 on my CBT licence.

I’ve just got myself a Yamaha TW125 trailway which I ride to college. I am based in Farnham and have also stared riding on some of the local lanes with it (Frensham, Hindhead and Tongham area)

Now that I’ve had a bit of experience I’d like to do a few more trails which are further a field and start riding within a group (It’s lonely by myself)

My bike seems to get around the lanes ok but of course could probably be better suited… It’s a bit more of challenge but I feel I am up to as I’ve had bit of trials bike experience in the past.

Cheers
Tom

Hey Tom, I'm a member of the Surrey group, I know the Frensham lanes fairly well. I've been leading quite a few rides recently, so you're welcome to come and join us. I usually start at Ryka's Cafe, Box Hill, near Dorking but often head over to Frensham. Give me a call if you'd like to do a ride in the next few weeks, planning to do a few in March, I do Saturdays usually - 07796 172397. Check out the Surrey Forum, http://surreytrf.free-forums.org/index.php - you'll need to register to post on the site.

Cheers mate!
Steven.

Hi Tom,

Hello and welcome to the club ;)

Wish I had found the TRF when I was 17.
I had an MTX125 and it never got dirty!
Did have an RM100 though too but just as a field bike.

Good guys at the Surrey TRF.
I started out trail riding with them in 2005.

Have Fun :D

Cheers,

Welcome, Tom, my son is 15 years old today and can't wait for his 17th birthday to go trail riding. I too wish I'd found the TRF at 17 (and gone to the College 'o' knowledge!).

Tom,

I'm also a member of the Surrey TRF, like Steven said, get on the forum and registered and join in some of the regular rides. Hope to see you about.
