Live around the Aylesbury area and have not been out laning since moving here when I finished university. Used to live in Essex and know the lanes there well.

Anybody nearby ? Which group would you guys recommend ?

Morning & Welcome

Bucks is a bit of a desert post NERC. My advise for what it is worth - Contact the following group Herts / Loddon Vale / Oxfordshire The all sort of cover your area...

Hi Lazyb

Glad you joined....the forum is a good place for ride outs and info. I have not yet been to a local group meeting, but enjoyed meeting some guys for a ride out down here, hope you get somebody as good arranging something in your area

Hi lazybones.
Like aceboy said theres hardly anything round here you can ride (even though there are good lanes   ).
Bucks does seem to have managed to get rid of all the legal places to ride somehow.
You are stuck between three TRF groups Herts, which mainly ride in the west herts area,
Oxford and virtual peaks group at Milton keynes.
All three groups are about the same distance away.
Theres also Enduroland if you like a bit of enduro.

Thanks for the welcome guys :D

I did read there was quite a decent amount of RUPPS here in bucks which have now become dreaded RB's :(

Having not ridden in any of those three areas it's tricky to know which group to join. Anybody have experience with the above mentioned groups or the area's they ride?

Was going to have a dabble over at enduroland but have yet to go have a gander. Would rather spend the extra cash on fuel and go ride the lovely lanes I know back over in Essex

Red: yeah have been lurking here for a while but only just got round to signing up  , we should try and get out for a ride one day over the next couple of weeks if your free ?

There are still a few round there
All the routes shown on the map as byways around Hastoe are all TRO'd.
There are also a couple of white roads or "other roads" worth a look as well.
Have fun.
