.... A decent ride around Hemel,redbourn,wheathampstead way?
Or better still any one riding around that way that myself and another new rider could join in on?

I am sure folks will help you out.

Have you tried your local groups and been in contact with them.

Not sure if you are a TRF member or not, but joining will help.

Most rideouts and requests are on the groups boards in the members section.
