I actually have a heated jacket. 8-)

But it's too much even in this weather. The minute you're bouncing around it's warm enough.

It's just the 5 miles upto Crowborough that you might need something. :|

The monthly midweek runs generally have a 10:30ish start time as riders (frequently on their first TRF outing) often have to travel from afar to the start point. For example Phil rode his 400 from the depths of Kent to make the run!

I rode from Battle to Peacehaven at -2ºC yesterday - I thought I grew out of such stupid motorcycling donkeys years ago.
I was reasonably warm but even with winter gloves my fingers were really painful - and I'm reasonably warm blooded.
I certainly built up temperature OK once we got into the bouncy bits.

I had my old Triumph Sprint for 2 years and never needed to use the heated grips but there was a bit of fairing on that.
