Hi all just signed up to the forum, full membership coming early Jan after the Turkey and trimmings. New to Trail riding and no longer a spring chicken so the novice group is probably for me. Live south of Sheffield 10 mins from Owler bar.
Looking forward to some mud plugging in the new year. :)

Hiya Mudfreak, yep just up the road from you at Norton. Can't do midweek cos of work tho. Saturdays are good for me went out with Mintsauce and a few other guys last week, long day but some great lanes and views. Might be up for a run next sat, bike in bits at mo so will let you know. ;)

Soz, I cannot do Saturdays because I work. I work in retail and Sats are the busiest day. This is why I go during the week, usally Wednesday or Thursdays.
The other good reason is that there are less horses and ramblers to stop for on weekdays, so this arrangment with working at weekends days fits in very well for me.
Let me know if your situation changes, and I will let you know if my work times change.
Thanks for the reply.

Hello Gooders, Have you been to the local TRF meeting yet at Spinkhill, just past Renishaw Golf Course, over the bridge and first left, first pub on right, 2nd Tues in month. There are a lot of riders from round this area, I am at Dronfield and I know of at least 20 others, so you are well placed. I normally go out on Sun (trf) or/and Wed. just one word of advice, when trailriding no expierienced riders are intrested in how quick you can ride on the trails, we save that for the enduro's. Welcome to the club. Mike :D
