Just thought I would say a curtious hello!
Only got into riding an Enduro bike this year as I have decided to leave riding on tarmac to the track! Bought myself a Honda XR250R for my first steed and I'm very impressed as it does everything I have thrown at it (be it very little).

Will be keeping my eye out on here for any outings around the derbyshire notts area :D

Hello & Welcome :D

Get in contact with your local group and let them know you are interested in rides.
A lot of clubs dont post every available ride on the forum as its so new and not all members are online.

Hi, babyscrape (interesting moniker), if you are nearer Derby than Nottingham then you are very welcome to the Peak Group. We meet at the Joiners Arms in Quarndon every first Thursday of the month. We are planning a series of monthly runs in the new year specifically for new riders. This is with the aim of teaching map reading, group run leading etc etc. The basics basically. Let me know if you want to join in.

Owdoo :)

Thanks for joining the TRF :D

You are lucky to have 3 groups that cover all the areas you want to ride. I will hopefully be able to start taking new member out again next year, was bikeless for most of this year :(

Our group covers Derbyshire and the Peaks,South Yorkshire and North Notts. As long as you are fully road legal on your bike and its properly silenced you are more than welcome to join us.

I have met some fantastic people in the TRF groups, if you are nice to them you will have friends for life.

I will post up on the members section when next available ;)

Thganks for the warm welcome, Will defo keep my eyes open for rideouts around this area. I'm located just off Jct 28 of M1 and have a trailer if required to go further affield.

Map reading isn't really a problem as I am just finishing 9 years service in the R.A.F

Looking forward to meeting some people soon!

When you are logged into the forum, in the "members section" look in forthcoming rides.

I will also pm you with the details ;)
