Yes, I understand you and share the frustation... I am really starting to doubt if it was worth joining the TRF...
Are you able to assist the meetings? Next one should be Thursday the 19th. Perhaps you can meet someone there and tell them our issue.
Kind regards,
Gonzalo

Hi Justin,
Neither to me... this Southern group is not serious. I forgot to tell you, perhaps yesterday they had that weekly meeting.
We should plan a ride ourselves. I have all the weekend of August the 4th and 5th free. What about you?
Kind regards,
Gonzalo

Hi Justin,
I had better luck with Surrey TRF. You should give it a go.
Enjoy your holidays.
Kind regards,
Gonzalo

Hi guys - sorry to hear your frustration on applications to Southern Group.

If it helps, I'm a member of the Southern group and if you want to re-apply let me know and I'll make sure the forum administrator is aware. Don't let the delay in response to your enquiries put you off - we do exist honest.

Please note that as part of our forum application you must use your real name.

We have about 130 members in total but its quite a relaxed group with about 20 or so that tend to use the Group forum regularly. The Club meetings are held in Eastleigh 3rd thursday of a month.

Cheers, Mark

Hello!

Is there anyone out there!? Just joined - looking for peeps to get out with in Hampshire, hopefully near me Warsash / Southampton.

New to trail riding, but have been yearning for years! Used to have bikes 15 years ago, and now back on two powered wheels!

Just waiting for my bike to be delivered to me this week - 2007 Yamaha WR250f (hope this was the right choice?!) - have all the gear - and literally no idea!

If you guy's or anyone can give a newbie some guidance, and get me out - that would be great!

Have exchanged some mails with Colin from the Southern group - but as yet no offers of rides out.

Excited, but nervous, and dreading after taking the plunge I'm not going to have the contacts and mates to get out with.

Fingers crossed!

Jonathan.

Hi Jonathan - I'm a member of the Southern group and you'll find the Club are a friendly bunch.

I see from a separate post you've already arranged a run out this weekend via Colin after which I'm sure your nervousness will have been replaced with the urge to get out again.

The Club meetings are held in Eastleigh 3rd thursday of a month - opposite Halfords.

You should visit the Southern forum where you'll see runs and events organised as well as getting information / response to questions and advice etc. There will also be members near to where you live so you'll be able to arrange runs local to where you live.

Cheers, Mark

Hiya, I'm in Hedge End and get out when i can, your welcome to join me. I don't get to club nights due to shift work but it's looking like i can tonight, would be good to meet some like minded folk.
Regards,
Andy
