Hi all,

I've have ridden sports bikes for a few years but took a break for the past couple. Rather than get back to road riding I was interested in green laning, so in my usual arse about face way I jumped into buying a bike without knowing a huge amount, a 99 Suzuki DR350.

Tried a few local lanes on my own last weekend which was good fun and went out again today and was bumbling along the roads looking for some decent byways when across the road (in an orderly fashion) came a group of TRF riders who kindly invited me to tag along.

Nervously, given my lack of experience, I tagged along and had a great time and picked up loads of great riding tips in a short time - best experience I could have asked for. Needless to say I'm now joining up.

Thanks to Richard and the rest of the group for the friendly welcome and advice!

Cheers,
James

Hello James,
It's our club meeting this Thursday, your welcome to come along.
There will also be a club ride on the Sunday after the meeting if you fancy
tagging along.
Look forward to meeting you :D

Hi James

Glad you enjoyed the ride. It was something of a baptism of mud but for a newbie you didn't seem to be having any real problems (which is more than can be said for some of us old hands).

Look forward to seeing you again soon.

Cheers

Richard

Should be able to make the club evening on Thursday, would also love to come on the ride out but can't make the 5th as my little girl is performing in a dance show - hopefully next time.

Thanks.

Hi James,

welcome to Cambridge TRF. i am really pleased that you stumbled on our group this Saturday. you were rubbing shoulders with both local members and some from Oxford, Dorset, Kent and a real old boy from East midlands, as well of course Richard who is our ROW specialist.

I look froward to meeting you at our meeting this coming Thursday and riding the lanes together in the coming months.
