As well as what is mentioned in the ad, it has just had over £170 spent on it having new inlet valves and the exhaust valves re-ground. This included a full gasket set. The cylinder head, base gasket, exhaust gasket and some o-ring seals were used so the remaining gaskets will go with the bike.

You certainly won`t see me anywhere near mud on either the GS or the Tiger and I haven`t done the frame transplant on lil Victor yet.
I am on the lookout for something suitable and being a tight b`stard I have a budgetary limit in the region of £1500. I can`t bring myself to spend a few grand on something I know will get dropped in massive lakes of fenland gloop.
Although it would be kind of cool to join the orange brigade I suspect anything within my price bracket will be a dog.
I have a soft spot for the CRM250. There is waht looks like a nice Mk1 in Wells, Norfolk on ebay at the moment. If anybody knows the bike some feedback would be good.

Failing that a TT250R would appear a decent alternative with the advantage of an electric boot.
